The students of Gopalan International School and final year students of Aeronautical Engineering, Gopalan College of Engineering and Management were taken on an Industrial visit to Gopalan Aerospace Private Limited, on 22 nd November, 2025. The students learned the basics of composites, heavy metal engineering which helped them to understand the working of the industrial process. Students learned a lot from the drone section, where the departmental head introduced the various types of Drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, which are developed at Gopalan Aerospace. They were informed about the types of drones used for mapping and agricultural purposes. They witnessed the working of an agricultural drone, the working of which is based on the mapping data fed to its controller. This visit has given students a first-hand knowledge of the industrial standards that are followed by the industry and the standards used in design and assembly of industrial drones.
