Information for Parents and Guardians


  1. The entries in the diary should be read and signed by the parents/guardians everyday.
  2. The Parents/Guardians must ensure that the pupil carries the diary to the school everyday.
  3. In case of loss of the diary or marks card, a duplicate will be provided against a payment of Rs.100/-.
  4. Parents must ensure that the pupils are sent neatly dressed to school with clean uniforms, polished shoes and clean socks and with their hair trimmed or tied neatly.
  5. Parents/Guardians must collect the Report Card on the date specified {Open Day}, failing which they can view and sign it on the first working day of the next term.
  6. Punctuality and regular attendance is very important. Attendance on the opening day and closing day of every session is very important. In case, the pupil fails to attend the class on the opening day, a fine will be levied per day.
  7. Parents/Guardians will please ensure that children do not carry money with them when they come to school.
  8. Parents/Guardians are not allowed to enter any of the class rooms during the class hours without the explicit permission of the Principal except on Open Day.
  9. Parents/Guardians are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing discipline and regularity at home. In order that lessons may be duly prepared, pupils should devote sufficient time to private study. On holidays, more time should be devoted to study at home. If parents insist on regular attendance and home study, the results are sure to be satisfying to them.
  10. Parents are requested to refer to the calendar regularly or else it will fail in its purpose. They must sign the progress report issued at the end of each term. No erasure of any kind will be permitted in the Report.
  11. A pupil will be liable to pay a fine for vandalizing school property.
  12. A pupil is permitted to wear colored clothes and bring toffees/sweets on his/her birthday. No other form of celebration will be permitted. Parents will refrain from seeking permission for a celebration or for entering the school premises on that occasion.
  13. It is recommended that the parents/guardians call at the Principal's office at least once each term between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon to ascertain from the school authorities what has been the conduct and progress of their child. Parents are required to meet the teachers during class wise Parent Teacher (OPEN DAY) indicated in the calendar to ascertain the progress and conduct of the pupils, and in case of need to make special appointments at other time.
  14. The home work diary must be signed by Parents/Guardians everyday.
  15. Tests and exams are compulsory. If tests/exams are missed due to illness, it must be reported to the Principal immediately and a medical certificate furnished.
