Onam Celebrations 2019

A special assembly on Onam was performed by the children of Prep D on 6th September 2019. The children put up a wonderful show explaining the significance of the festival under the guidance of their teacher Ms. Manju. The foyer was decorated with pookalam (rangoli) with fresh flowers which brought in the ambience of festivity. Children wore traditional Kerala attire and performed vallamkali (snake boat race), Pulikali (tiger dance) and Kaikotikalli which are the main attractions of the festival. A skit depicting the story of Vamana and King Mahabali was enacted by the tiny tots.
